Armando Ramirez-Tolentino: The defense received an offer from the state and needs to review it with the defendant. However, Armando did not appear in court, and his attorney doesn’t know his whereabouts. The defense requested a continuance, but the state requested a warrant.  Warrant issued. Armando Ramirez-Tolentino is charged with Cannabis Trafficking >5,000 Grams (Class X Felony), Mfg/Del Cannabis >5,000 Grams (Class X Felony), and Possession of Cannabis >5,000 Grams (Class 1 Felony).

Rodrigo Hernandez-Hernandez: The defense received an offer from the state and needs time to review it with the defendant. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for March 20, 2025, at 9 AM. APlea is scheduled for March 10, 2025, at  9:30 AM.  Borsch is charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child under the age of 13 (Class 3 Felony), Possession of Heroin 15-100 grams (Class 1 Felony), and Possession with the Intent to Deliver 15-100 grams of Heroin (Class X Felony) for case 22CF44.  Obstruct Justice/Destroy Evidence (Class 4 Felony) and Violate Bail Bond/Family Member (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 22CF54.  Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 22DV2.  Violate Order/Prior Domestic Battery (Class 4 Felony) and Violate Order Protection (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 23CF130.  Theft <$300 (Class 4 Felony) and Retail Theft <$300 (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 21CF394.

Roberto Martinez: Roberto Martinez remains in custody. An insanity defense evaluation was requested by the defense and ordered by Judge Hathaway. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 11 AM. Martinez with Three Counts of Attempted First Degree Murder (Class X Felony), Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony), Residential Arson (Class 1 Felony), Arson (Class 2 Felony), Criminal Trespass to Residence (Class 4 Felony), Three Counts of Criminal Damage to State Supported Property (Class 4 Felony), Two Counts of Aggravated Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer (Class 4 Felony), Criminal Trespass to Residence (Class A Misdemeanor), and Resisting a Peace Officer (Class A Misdemeanor).

Charles Doty III: Charles Doty III remains in custody. Waiting on DNA labs to return. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 11 AM. Charles Doty III is charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Assault/Family Member <18 (Class 1 Felony), two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Assault/Supervision/Vic 13-17 (Class 1 Felony), Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse/Vic<18/Trust (Class 1 Felony), and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse/Vic<18/Family (Class 2 Felony).

Richard McDonald: Richard McDonald remains in the custody of Henry County Jail. Attorney Camp spoke to State’s Attorney Runty with a potential counteroffer. SA Runty will need to check with the victims regarding the counteroffer. Richard requested a furlough to be with his mother, whom he said was very sick. He said he needed to get her affairs in order. The state objected to the release because they felt that McDonald would continue to commit crimes. He is facing a lengthy IDOC sentence. Judge Hathaway denied the request and said this was the last continuance. a Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 11 AM.

Richard McDonald is charged with Making Terrorist Threats (Class X Felony), two violations of the Sexual Offender Registration Act (Class 3 Felonies) for 2022CF281, Driving on a Revoked License (Class 4 Felony) for case 2023CF348; Driving on a Revoked License (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2023MT345; Violation of Sex Offender Registration (Class 3 Felony) for case 2024CF82; Violation of Sex Offender Registration 2+ (Class 2 Felony), Driving on a Revoked License (Class 4 Felony), and Threats by Electronic Harassment (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF307.

Brandon Parsons: The defense is waiting on the order to have the vehicle inspected. ASA Becker asked the defense to forward the email to her so they can work out the details. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 1 PM. Parsons is charged with Cannabis Trafficking <5000 grams (Class X Felony), Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis <5000 grams (Class X Felony), and Possession of Cannabis <5000 grams (Class 1 Felony).

William Withrow: The state filed an amendment to reduce driving on a revoked/suspended license to a third offense. Mr. Withrow attempted to hand a letter to Judge Hathaway, but Judge Hathaway said he is unable to accept any letters. Mr. Withrow and his attorney, Mr. Carmen, stepped into the jury room to discuss the contents of the letter and to advise his client appropriately. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 1 PM. William Withrow is charged with Driving with RVK/SUPD/DUI/3rd (Class 4 Felony), Driving on a Revoked License (Class A Misdemeanor), Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle (Class P Other), and No Valid Registration (Class P Other).

Dale English: Dale English accepted a plea deal for conditional discharge, fines, and a stayed jail sentence, on an amended charge of unlawful restraint. The state added a third count for Unlawful Restraint (Class 4 Felony) and the original two counts were dismissed per the plea agreement. English received 12 months of conditional discharge, a $500 fine, assessments, 90 days in the Henry County Jail (stayed pending compliance), and he is to have no contact with the juvenile victim. According to court documents, Mr. English did, without lawful authority, detain a minor child, in that he did not allow her to get up off the bed and leave the bedroom on or about the first day of October 2018.

English was originally charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault Victim under 13 (Class X Felony) and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse Victim under 13 (Class 2 Felony).
