Tom Ainley: Working on a global resolution. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for June 17, 2024, at 9 AM.  Ainley is charged with Aggravated Battery/Victim 60+ (Class 3 Felony), Domestic Battery/Physical Contact (Class A Misdemeanor), Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm (Class A Misdemeanor) and Resisting Arrest (Class A Misdemeanor).

Dlorean Sullivan:  Working on negotiations. The state needs to review the counter offer with the victim. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for June 17, 2024, at 9 AM.  Sullivan is charged with Aggravated Stalking/Violate OP (Class 3 Felony) and Violating OP/Prior Violation (Class 4 Felony).

Jequann Johnson: A Plea is scheduled for July 18, 2024, at 3 PM.  Jequann Johnson is charged with Obstruct Justice/Destroy Evidence (Class 4 Felony), Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm (Class 3 Felony) and Mob Action (Class 4 Felony).

Christopher Woodruff: Christopher Woodruff remains in custody on a $250,000 (10%) bond. Woodruff is taking an open plea with a 30-year cap in the Illinois Department of Corrections. An Open Plea is scheduled for June 20, 2024, at 10:30 AM.  Christopher Woodruff is charged with three (3) counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault/Victim under 13 (Class X Felony).

Justin Stanley: Justin Stanley has withdrawn his motion. Justin Stanley was originally charged with Armed Violence (Class X Felony), Five counts of Unlawful Possession of Firearm without a valid FOID card (Class A Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance within 500 feet of a School (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (Class 1 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Class 2 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Weapon (Class 3 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (Class 4 Felony) and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony).

Preliminary Hearings

Charles Doty III: Charles Doty III remains in custody. Doty waived his preliminary hearing and formal arraignment. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for June 20, 2024, at 11 AM. Charles Doty III is charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Assault/Family Member <18 (Class 1 Felony), two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Assault/Supervision/Vic 13-17 (Class 1 Felony), Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse/Vic<18/Trust (Class 1 Felony), and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse/Vic<18/Family (Class 2 Felony).

Jack Medley: Jack Medley said he doesn’t have enough money right now to pay for an attorney and needs more time to sell assets for an attorney.  He said someone gave him a list of attorneys in the area. A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for Jun 17, 2024, at 2 PM. According to court documents, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on I-80 for following too closely. A K9 alerted on the vehicle.  A search found edibles in the console and 81 pounds of raw cannabis in three duffel bags and a box in the bed of the truck. The suspected cannabis field tested positive. The defendant told police that a female loaded the bed of the truck with cannabis in Grass Valley, California, at a golf course.  He was headed to Youngstown, Ohio, with the product. According to court documents, he knew he was transporting cannabis and was getting paid around $7,000 for the job.  He said he was given half upfront. He had approximately $3,000 on his person. Jack Medley is charged with Cannabis Trafficking >5,000 Grams (Class X Felony), Distribution of Cannabis >5,000 Grams (Class X Felony), and Possession of Cannabis >5,000 Grams (Class 1 Felony).

Donavan Mathis: Donavan Mathis is serving a jail sentence for a prior case. Donavan Mathis said he intends to hire a private attorney but needs more time to make the phone calls. Mathis then told the court that he wanted the case done as soon as possible and wanted to hold a Preliminary Hearing. “I can try to do it myself,” without an attorney. He then decided to continue the preliminary hearing with an attorney. A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2024, at 2 PM. According to court document, Mathis damaged a window in the Henry County Jail on May 5th. The value of the window is under $500. Donavan Mathis is charged with Criminal Damage to Gvnt Property <$500 (Class 4 Felony) for case 2024CF145. Mathis is charged with Domestic Battery/Contact (Class 4 Felony) and Domestic Battery/Physical Contact (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF90. Mathis is charged with Escape/Violate Elec Monitoring (Class 3 Felony) for case 2024CF118.
