Nicole Daulton: Nicole Daulton remains in custody on a $500,000 (10%) bond. The co-defendant case is still pending. The Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 9 AM. Nicole Daulton is charged with three (3) counts of Permitting the Sexual Abuse of a Child (Class 1 Felony).
Justin Kentner: A Plea is scheduled for November 15, 2024, at 11:30 AM. Kentner is charged with Aggravated Battery/Public Place (Class 3 Felony) and Obstructing Justice/Destroy Evidence (Class 4 Felony).
Javon Porter: Javon Porter remains in custody. Still waiting on lab reports to come back on some of the evidence. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 10 AM. Porter is charged with Attempted Murder (Class X Felony), Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Class 3 Felony), Reckless Discharge of a Firearm (Class 4), and two counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm (Class X Felony).
Thomas Motley: Attorney Schultz is covering for Attorney Miljush. One last continuance granted. Judge Patton said he would go to trial the week of November 4th if there isn’t a resolution in October. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 1 PM. Motley is charged with ten (10) counts of Possession of Child Pornography/Victim Under 13 (Class 2 Felony) and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor).
Tyler Snider: An agreement has been reached but an evaluation needs to be completed. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for November 14, 2024, at 1 PM. Tyler Snider is charged with Grooming (Class 4 Felony).
Paul Higgins: Paul Higgins remains in custody. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 1 PM. Paul Higgins is charged with ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography/Victim <13 (Class 2 Felony), Possession of a Short Barrel Shotgun/Rifle (Class 3 Felony), and Possession of a Firearm Without FOID (Class A Misdemeanor). The defense requested that Mr. Higgins be released with GPS and restrictions due to a number of medical conditions that the defendant said were not being properly treated. Judge Patton said the defense would need compelling evidence that Mr. Higgins’s health was in danger before he could be released for medical.
Jose Valentin: Jose Valentin remains in custody. Initial offer discussions are starting. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 1 PM. Jose Valentin is charged with Murder/Intent to Kill/Injure (Class M Felony) and Murder/Strong Prob Kill/Injure (Class M Felony).
Justin Kirchner: Justin Kirchner remains in custody on a $500,000 (10%) bond. Following a motion hearing, Judge Patton ruled that credit for time served for the defendant would begin on August 17, 2023. The credit for time served discrepancy was the reason the plea hearing was continued. Attorney Paulson requested a jury pretrial hearing on the September final pretrial to gauge where the parties are in negotiations. A Jury Pre-Trial is scheduled for September 23, 2024, at 9 AM. Kirchner is charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery/Public Place (Class 3 Felony) for case 2024CF13, Aggravated DUI causing a Death (Class 2 Felony), DUI Any Amount of Drug (Class A Misdemeanor), plus traffic tickets for case 2022CF301, Possession of Meth <5 Grams (Class 3 Felony), Driving on Suspended License (Class A Misdemeanor), plus traffic citations for case 2023CF92, Driving on a Suspended License (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2023MT28, and Aggravated Fleeing/21 MPH Over (Class 4 Felony), Aggravated Fleeing/2+ Control Devices (Class 4 Felony) and Reckless Driving (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2023CF238.
