Illinois State Police are investigating the homicide of Catrell Reed in Henry County. Reed, who had been reported missing to Kewanee Police, was discovered deceased on May 30, 2025, near Highway 81 and East 2350th Street, just west of Kewanee. An autopsy on June 2nd confirmed the death was a homicide. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities, which is offering a $2,500 cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
