Cub Scout Pack 4199 Registration and Information Night for Kindergarten to Fifth Grade Families

SHARE NOW

Families with children in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend a special registration and information session for the rechartering of Cub Scout Pack 4199 at the First Baptist Church in Kewanee. The gathering takes place on Tuesday, September 9th, beginning at 6:30 PM. Former Cubmaster Mike Komnick and incoming Cubmaster David Ferns will guide parents through a year in Cub Scouting, discussing family involvement, group activities, and administrative details. While parents meet, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will lead fun and educational activities for prospective Scouts. For more information, contact Dave, Mike, or Jacque.

Scouting spirit will be in full force as Girl Scouts from Troop 4444 and Boy Scouts from Troop 4106 join efforts to welcome prospective Scouts. While parents engage with volunteers Dave and Mike, young visitors are invited to rotate through interactive stations. There, they’ll get hands-on experience with Scouting basics and learn what it means to be part of this dynamic community. Activities are designed to inspire teamwork, curiosity, and outdoor skills, offering a fun introduction to Scouting. Both troops are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and encouraging new members to embrace the adventure of Scouting.
