Mark your calendar for Eagle Watch Weekend, a highlight of the winter season with thrilling
activities for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Witness the majesty of birds of prey up
close, learn from engaging educational exhibits, and enjoy interactive programs at multiple
venues:
Starved Rock Lodge
– Live Bird of Prey Programs: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM
– Educational Exhibits in the Great Hall
Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center
– Live Bird of Prey Programs: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
– Photos with Sadie, the Starved Rock Eagle Mascot: Noon to 2:00 PM (both days)
– Children’s Craft and Story Time: Saturday at Noon
Illinois Waterway Visitor Center
– Live Bird of Prey Programs: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
– Children’s Owl Pellet Dissection: Sunday at 3:30 PM
Utica Village Hall

Convenient Trolley Service-A trolley service will connect Starved Rock Lodge, Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center, Utica Village Hall, and the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center. Trolley wristbands are available for just $5 per person per day, making it easy to enjoy every stop along the way.
Live Bird of Prey Programs-The awe-inspiring live bird of prey programs are presented by renowned organizations, including the Illinois Raptor Center, Stillman Nature Center, Hoo Haven, and Wildlife Prairie Park.
