Book lovers in the community are invited to the annual Hog Days Book Sale, hosted by the Friends of the Kewanee Public Library. This event is set for Saturday, August 30th, from 7 AM to 11 AM, taking place in the parking lot of Johnson’s Appliance at the corner of Chestnut and 1st Street. Shoppers will find an impressive selection of books and other items suitable for all ages. Proceeds from the sale will support library programs and services. Organizers encourage everyone to stop by, browse, and help promote a love for reading throughout the community.
