Doodle Folk Music Festival and Honor Flight Benefit in Bishop Hill on June 13th

The Doodle Folk Music Festival is set for Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Bishop Hill, Illinois, celebrating America’s 250th birthday with top folk musicians. The event kicks off at 10 AM with Barry Cloyd, followed by the Taproot Wranglers at 11:30. The Bucktown Americana Music Show takes the stage at 1:30 PM, and Lee Murdock will close out the festival at 3. All concerts are free, set in the village park’s historic atmosphere.

The Filling Station Restaurant is hosting its 17th annual Honor Flight Benefit to support Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. Events run from 7 AM to 2 PM, with all proceeds aiding regional veterans. Enjoy a pay-what-you-can breakfast and lunch buffet, plus a brown bag raffle fundraiser from 8 to 11 AM, followed by a live auction at 11. Free live music will add to the atmosphere, and please note—the grill will not be open during the event.
