A local resident, Chelsea Chayer, is lacing up for this year’s St. Jude Runs, aiming to raise $1,000 to support children battling cancer. To inspire community involvement, they’ve launched a unique fundraiser: a raffle for a premium meat bundle, with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The winner will be drawn on June 28, 2025. St. Jude’s mission is to ensure families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus on their child’s recovery. Donations—either through raffle tickets or direct support—can be made online, with every dollar moving us closer to a world where no child dies from cancer.
