Illinois Extension invites the public to the Eating for Bone Health program at Walnut Public Library, led by Nutrition Educator Susan Glassman. Attendees will learn about essential nutrients for stronger bones, factors that can increase the risk of osteoporosis, and how physical activity supports bone health. The session also provides practical resources and bone-friendly recipes to help integrate healthy habits into daily life. Community members interested in participating can sign up either online or by calling the library directly. This event aims to empower individuals with knowledge and tools to maintain and improve bone health throughout their lives.
