The answer is the Enchanted Pumpkin Festival in downtown Kewanee on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10 AM to 3 PM. You don’t want to miss the “Pup-Kin” Dog Costume Contest by People Bonding With Animals = Joy. Berrien Park will be the site for the ‘Cutest Doggy Costume Contest’ on October 19th. The event, beginning at 1:00 PM following a 12:30 PM registration, requires a $20 donation. Funds will support senior, veteran, and disabled pet owners, helping keep pets healthy and out of shelters. Following the enchanted festival, Good’s Furniture is holding a trunk-or-treat in their Main Street Parking lot from 3 to 5 PM. The deadline to reserve a spot to hand out goodies is October 12th.
