Bishop Hill is gearing up for its Bargain Harvest Weekend on October 11th and 12th. Local shops, restaurants, and museums will be offering special discounts and activities during regular business hours. Museum visitors can enjoy crafts, video showings, and other attractions. Collect signatures from six businesses or museums to enter a drawing for a gift basket at the Colony Store, with the winner announced on Sunday at 3:30 PM. On Saturday, the Pottery Festival will feature demonstrations and sales from local potters and crafters near PL Johnson’s from 10 AM to 5 PM. Attendees can look forward to prize drawings and hands-on crafts, making the event lively for all ages. This annual celebration provides an opportunity to explore Bishop Hill’s culture, enjoy special deals, and support the community’s creative talent.
