Downtown Silvis will become a winter wonderland on Saturday during the ‘Winter in Silvis’ event on December 7th from 3 PM to 6 PM. The festivities, free for all families, will feature visits from the Snow Sisters and Olaf, live ice sculpture, and kids’ craft stations. There are goodie bags for the first 200 children at the Frozen Wonderland party. To top off the festive events, there will be a Santa-themed party that will offer hot chocolate, cookie decorating, and a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Horsedrawn carriages will provide transportation between key venues, including the Silvis Public Library and City Hall.
