The Galesburg Fire Department responded to a fire at Harley’s Pub, located at 2243 Grand Avenue, on November 28, 2023, around 8:38 AM. Fire crews responded to find heavy smoke coming from the structure. All three fire stations responded to the fire. The Brooks Street station crew entered the structure and extinguished the fire. No occupants were found in the structure and no injuries were reported.
An emergency callback of off-duty fire personnel was initiated to provide emergency coverage to the city. Preliminary damages are estimated at approximately $100,000. The fire was contained to the room where the fire started but the entire building sustained heavy smoke damage. Galesburg Fire Department Investigators determined the cause of the fire to be unintentional.
