The former Henry County Jail Administrator charged with sharing explicit photographs of two women with co-workers accepted a plea deal for probation and fines. Jerrico Lessard was charged with four counts of nonconsensual dissemination of a sex image following an investigation into allegations of off-duty misconduct in January. The original charges were Class 4 Felonies, but a fifth charge was added in August for a Class A Misdemeanor for obscenity. Jerrico Lessard pleaded guilty to Obscenity and received 24 months of probation, 60 days in the Henry County jail (stayed pending compliance with the agreement), $950 in fines and assessments, and no contact with the victims or their residences. He must report to the Knox County Probation Department for intake and management of his probation. He will pay $50 on the first Monday of each month, beginning November 4, 2024.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was contacted on January 7, 2024, with allegations regarding off-duty misconduct by jail administrator Jerrico Lessard. The Sheriff’s Office began an internal investigation into the allegations the next day and placed Lessard on paid administrative leave. The Illinois State Police were contacted to conduct an independent investigation.
