Franklin University and Illinois Valley Community College are deepening their alliance to support student success. Through the introduction of the Pathway Portal, current IVCC students and alumni can now easily see how their associate degree credits will apply toward 28 different bachelor’s degree programs at Franklin University. A major highlight of this partnership is the set tuition rate of $298 per credit hour, making the transition to a four-year degree more transparent and affordable. Administrators emphasize that the new tool empowers learners, streamlining the transfer process and opening doors to advanced education across a range of fields.

“Illinois Valley Community College has built a proud legacy of student-centered excellence, recognized for its commitment to innovation and community impact,” said Crystal Credi, dean of student success. “Our partnership with Franklin University aligns with that mission, creating a clear, affordable pathway for our students to complete their bachelor’s degrees and continue achieving success beyond IVCC.”

Franklin University’s Pathway Portal continues its rapid expansion, now offering Illinois Valley Community College students and alumni a clear, accessible route to earning a bachelor’s degree. Since launching in March 2023, the portal has linked more than 6,550 students from 38 partner institutions, helping them transfer credits efficiently and affordably. The addition of IVCC further extends Franklin’s network across six states, focusing on flexibility for working adults and community college graduates.
