The Kewanee Police Department, joined by Farmers Insurance agent Amber Patch-Troxell, is working to boost child safety with ROTH ID Tags. These special tags, valued at $20, help first responders quickly identify children and contact families in emergencies, especially if a driver is unable to communicate after a crash. Parents can receive a free ROTH ID Tag when their car seat is checked by Certified Passenger Safety Technicians or by attending an event at City Hall on April 27, 2025, from noon to 4 PM. For more information about these life-saving tags, visit the ROTH ID Tag website here.
