Free Summer Meals for Kids Available in Kewanee Through July 31, 2026

Kewanee families have free meal options for kids this summer. The school district, with support from Mr. Damron and district cooks, is serving free breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday through the end of July. Meals are available for all children 18 and younger and for individuals 21 and younger with physical or mental disabilities. Locations include the YMCA Tumbling Center, Central School Cafeteria at the Burr Boulevard entrance, and the Fairview Community Center. Breakfast begins between 7:45 and 8, with lunch service starting at 11:30 or 11:45. No registration is required—families can simply show up.
