April is sexual assault awareness month, and Freedom House is holding two events to raise awareness of sexual assault. There is a cookout on April 26, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Rotary Park in Princeton. The cookout will relocate to the Simon Conference Center at 446 Elm Place if it rains. They will serve brats ($7), hotdogs ($5), chips ($1), drinks ($1), and a bake sale by the Greenfield Retirement Home.
On April 30, 2024, Freedom House presents Awareness in the Park at Central Park in Henry from 5 to 7 PM. There will be survivor stories, guest speakers, and resources available to take home.
