    IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected across the watch area tonight into Sunday morning. Very high rainfall rates of 2 inches or greater in a short time are possible, which could lead to flash flooding particularly in urban areas. In addition, with the potential for repeated rounds of storms, some locations could receive 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. With saturated soils from previous rainfall, these rainfall rates and rainfall amounts will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding.

For a $10 donation, you can bring both your two-legged and four-legged kids to this event, sponsored by Friends of the Animals. Friends of the Animals is inviting both children and beloved pets to pose with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each picture will cost $10, creating a perfect keepsake for this joyous season. The event promises to be a delightful mix of wagging tails and bright smiles, perfect for those looking to add a little extra sparkle to their holiday celebrations. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to commemorate the holiday season with the whole family, pets included! The $10 donation will help Friends of the Animals pay emergency medical bills for pets in the area. The Chrome Gypsy Compound is located at 600 N. Lexington Street in Kewanee. The parking lot entrance is off Lexington Avenue.
