There are still opportunities to help Chloe Gruszeczka and her family with medical bills, time off work, and travel costs. You can donate to GoFundMe here. Save the date for July 27, 2024, for a fundraiser to help pay Chloe’s medical bills. The event is at Jay’s Place, located at 315 E. 3rd Street in Kewanee, and we will give an update closer to July 27th with time for the fundraiser. In the meantime, fundraiser organizers are looking for donations such as gift certificates, raffle basket items, vouchers, food, money, etc.
If you can donate to the fundraiser, call Kerrigan Kelly at 309-883-9302, or Katy Witte at 309-883-4608. Jay’s Place is the drop-off location for donations, or contact Kerrigan or Katy to arrange for your donation to be picked up.
The drawing will be done on June 30th for the raffle to win a new high top fire table dining set from Goods Furniture. You can stop in to get tickets or Venmo @kaleighgood10.
You can order shirts until June 26th from the #teamGruszeczka Breedlove’s store here.
If you would like to give Chloe a get-well card, drop them off in the morning at the Regional Media Studios, located at 101 W. Central Blvd. The cards will be collected and delivered to Chloe at the hospital in Peoria.
Chloe had surgery to replace the skull cap and clean out the blood from the hemorrhage. The surgery went great, and Chloe will remain in the ICU for a few more days, so they can monitor her closely. They are still waiting for more pathology reports to come back and allow the doctors to create a plan for her treatment and recovery.
