1. Discussion of a tentative budget for the Town of the City of Galesburg for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025.
a. Budget will be on public display from October 18, 2024, until final reading December 2, 2024, at the Township Office and Galesburg City Hall. Displayed for at least 30 days prior to the Public Hearing.
2. October 21, 2024, Township Meeting:
a. Resolution to Determine Tax Levy
3. November 18, 2024, Township Meeting:
a. Public Hearing
b. Township Budget & Appropriation Ordinance (first reading)
c. Tax Levy Ordinance (first reading)
4. December 2, 2024, Meeting:
a. Township Budget & Appropriation Ordinance (final reading)
b. Tax Levy Ordinance (final reading)
5. The Township Clerk will file the Tax Levy and Budget & Appropriation Ordinance with the County Clerk no later than Friday, December 20, 2024.
6. Public Comment
