The City of Galesburg is extending hours at its oversized brush and limb drop-off site to help residents manage storm debris. Normally open on weekends, the site at 636 Pickard Road will operate daily from Tuesday, July 29th, through Sunday, August 3rd, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This service is free for residents with refuse charges on their water bill, while commercial contractors are not permitted. Smaller branches can be bundled or bagged and left curbside for pickup on regular refuse days, following city guidelines. Details are available on the City of Galesburg’s official website.
