Galesburg Police Make Arrest from June 7th Fatal Shooting

In Galesburg, an arrest has been made in connection with the June 7th shooting that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Cam’ron Glass and injured 19-year-old Chase Houlden Jr. On June 18th, Chase Houlden Jr. was arrested on a warrant for the murder of Cam’ron Glass and is currently held at Knox County Jail. The police continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to come forward.

The Galesburg Police Department responded to a shots fired call and discovered Cam’ron Glass deceased inside the residence located at 949 East South Street. An arrest warrant for murder was issued for Chase Houlden Jr., 19, of Galesburg. Houlden was injured during the incident and is at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria in stable condition.
