Galva Native Zach Anderson Named Head Coach of Galva Varsity Football Team

Galva High School proudly welcomes Zach Anderson as the new head varsity football coach for the 2025 season. A celebrated Galva native, Anderson brings a rich tapestry of seven years of coaching experience and a deep-seated passion for the sport. He aims to instill a love for the game in his players, stressing the importance of respect and competitiveness both on the practice field and during games. Anderson, a four-year letterman and two-time captain, cherishes his roots and looks forward to contributing to the community as he takes the helm of the Galva Wildcats varsity 8-man football team this fall. As a Galva School alumnus, Anderson’s impressive history as a four-year letterman in multiple sports and a decorated athlete speaks volumes. He was a two-time captain in football and basketball, earning First-Team All-Conference honors. Returning to his hometown, Anderson aims to inspire players on the field, bringing his hometown hero legacy back to life. Stay tuned for more as the Galva Tigers take to the field with renewed vigor.
