March 3
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 4 th Street for a welfare check. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street to recover a wallet that had been left there. Officer located the owner and returned it.
Officer, assisted Knox Co, with checking a residence for a suspect vehicle that was involved in a pursuit with them earlier. The suspect was not located.
March 4
Officer, assisted the Bureau Co Coroner’s office with a death notification at a residence on SE 2 nd Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3 rd Ave for a traffic complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street to a verbal disturbance complaint. The report was unfounded.
March 5
Officer spoke to a resident in the 100 block of NE 9 th Street about a city ordinance violation.

Officer spoke to a resident in the 300 block of SW 4 th Ave about a city ordinance violation.
Officer spoke to a resident in the 500 block of SW 3 rd Street about a city ordinance violation.
Officer, along with the fire department, were dispatched near the intersection of South Center Ave and SW 3 rd Street for a downed powerline and a transformer that was sparking. Ameren also responded for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 1 st Street for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was determined to be a young child playing on a parent’s phone.
March 6
Officer provided traffic control for several vehicles owned by Dawson technologies as they completed a study along Route 34 east of town.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 3 rd Street to attempt to locate a vehicle owner of a disabled vehicle near Woodhull. The vehicle had a flat tire, which was replaced and then removed.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Ave to assist a citizen.
March 7
Officer was dispatched to the north edge of town to watch for a possible impaired driver heading towards Galva. Officer located the vehicle, but was not find any probable cause for a traffic stop.
Officer was dispatched to the intersection of SE 8th Ave and Se 2 nd Street for a two vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to an activated medical alert in the 600 block of SW 2 nd Ave. The resident was testing a new life alert necklace. False alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 4 th Street for a domestic dispute.
March 8
Officer was dispatched to the SW 6 th Ave railroad tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. The gates were activated but no trains were present. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street for a subject screaming and yelling. The subject was suffering from a mental health crisis, but agreed to keep the noise down.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 1 st Street for a report of juveniles knocking on the door and then running away. Officer was not able to locate subjects involved.
March 9
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 7 th Ave for a verbal domestic dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 3 rd Ave for a loose dog complaint.
Officer met a resident at the Galva PD to update their annual sex offender registration. A completed form was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 1 st Ave for a loose dog complaint. Two dogs were impounded.
Officer was dispatched to watch the east edge of town for a reckless driver after a traffic complaint. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped. A written warning was given.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NE 7 th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental dial.
Officer was notified that several people called to complaint about a stopped train. BNSF was contacted and the train eventually moved along.
