July 7
Officer was dispatched to a residence on Main Street to check welfare on a resident. They were fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for an obstruction in the street. It was determined to be a power transformer that fell off a utility truck. Ameren arrived and picked it up.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 1 st Ave for a solicitor complaint. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Ave to speak to a resident about a missing cat.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street to deliver a message.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street to check the welfare of a subject. They were fine.

July 8
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a citizen who appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SE 2 nd Street for an illegal burning complaint. Officer spoke to a resident, who was burning furniture. The fire was extinguished.
Officer went to a residence in the 800 block of NE 3 rd Ave for a city ordinance violation of having a swimming pool without a fence or barrier.
Officer went to a residence in the 200 block of SE 1st Ave for a city ordinance violation of having a swimming pool without a fence or barrier.
Officer met a resident in the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 4 th Street for a child custody exchange.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a 2 vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 7 th Street for a loose dog complaint.

July 9
Officer went to the 00 block of NE 4 th Ave for a city ordinance violation involving an unlicensed vehicle. A door hanger was left.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 8 th Ave for a welfare check. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of North Center Ave to assist Bureau Co with locating a subject that drove off without paying for fuel in Princeton.

July 10
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street to check the welfare of a subject. They were fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Swank Street for a solicitation complaint. The subject was located and referred to City Hall.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 4 th Street for a child custody dispute.

July 11
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of Commercial Street, William Schultz, 76, Chicago, was arrested for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured vehicle, and operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 6 th Street for a loose dog complaint.

July 12
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 1 st Street for a tree down in the roadway from recent storms. The street dept was contacted for removal.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.

July 13
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 1 st Street for a welfare check. The subject was fine.Citations

Jason Shafer, 48, Kewanee was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2 nd Street.
