December 8
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street after a disturbance involving a subject yelling at school children waiting for the school bus.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for a complaint involving child custody issues.
Officer was then requested for a civil standby in the 600 block of NE 2 nd Street to attempt to retrieve property.
While patrolling, officer was flagged down in the 200 block of SW 6 th Street. A motorist was needing directions to Williamsfield. They were provided.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street for a disturbance possibly involving a long gun inside a vehicle. Officers and Henry Co deputies were not able to locate the suspect vehicle.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to file a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred several weeks ago.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 5 th Ave for a welfare check. The subject was fine.

December 9
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 2 nd Street for a loose dog complaint. The officer was not able to load the very large dogs into the car and was unable to get ahold of the owner. Officer walked the dogs home and secured them on a porch.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 3 rd Ave for a welfare check after a subject did not show up for work and wasn’t answering the phone. The subject was located and was fine.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to update their annual sex offender registration. The completed form was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.

December 10
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 7 th Ave for a disturbance and trespassing complaint.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 4 th Street for a welfare check. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 2 nd Street for a child custody dispute.

December 11
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 1 st Street for a trespassing / parking complaint.
While patrolling, officer noticed the Chester Street railroad crossing arms were activated with no trains present. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South Exchange Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be an accidental dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of North Exchange Street to assist a motorist that had locked their keys inside their vehicle. Tarletons were contacted and able to unlock it.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Ave to deliver a message for Kewanee PD in reference to a wallet being found in their jurisdiction.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Street for a loose and aggressive dog complaint. The dog was returned to it’s residence by a passerby.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with checking on a vehicle in the ditch on Route 34 about 2 miles west of town. Vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with a vehicle in the ditch on Route 34 just east of town for a vehicle in the ditch.

December 12
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 5 th Ave for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2 nd Ave for a disorderly conduct – telephone harassment complaint.

December 13
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North Center Ave for a reckless driving complaint. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SW 3 rd Street for a loose dog complaint. Dog had been located by it’s owner and returned home.

December 14
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to renew their annual sex offender registration. A completed form was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street to assist a motorist that locked their keys inside the vehicle. Henry Co was able to assist the subject.
