August 18
Officer met a resident at the Galva PD in reference to a neighbor complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 4 th Ave to assist the Galva Water Dept after they found items in a hole they were digging.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 4 th Street for a civil stand-by to retrieve property.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Street for a complaint involving a tenant and landlord.
Officer went to a residence in the 700 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a city ordinance violation involving chickens without a permit.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a violation of an order of protection complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 2 nd Street for a scam complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street for a disturbance involving a customer.

August 19
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD to register as a sex offender. The form was completed and it was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a report involving several violations of an order of protection.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street for a telephone harassment complaint.
While patrolling, officer noticed a subject sitting on a public sidewalk in the 300 block of Front Street with open alcohol. The subject was informed it was a violation of city ordinance to consume alcohol on a public right-of-way.
While patrolling, officer noticed a crossing arm malfunction at the SW 6 th Ave railroad tracks. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer assisted Henry Co with a traffic stop on the east edge of Galva.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of North Center Ave for an attempted burglary complaint. The damage was determined to be caused by a juvenile neighbor.

August 20
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a violation of an order of protection. Officer went to the Henry Co courthouse and obtained an arrest warrant. Later that day, Roy Orwig, 47, Kewanee, was arrested for violation of an order of protection. He was taken to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer assisted the street dept with moving several vehicles for road work around different areas of town.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street to check the welfare of a subject.
Officer was dispatched to check the welfare of a subject in the 100 block of NW 8 th Ave. They were fine.
While patrolling, officer was flagged down in the 600 block of West Division Street by a juvenile bicyclist in reference to a reckless driver that almost struck him. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street to retrieve a debit card that had been found and was being turned in.

August 21
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 1 st Street for a hit-and-run accident with minor damage only. Officer located the other driver and a crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a heated domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 3 rd Street for a neglected animal complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 1 st Street for a neglected animal complaint.
Officer was dispatched to Washington Park for a complaint involving a fight that was possibly ready to begin.

August 22
While patrolling, officer noticed a train that had stopped and was blocking all Galva crossing except SW 6 th Ave. The train eventually moved along.
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD to update their yearly sex offender registration form. A copy was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NE 4 th Ave for a loose chicken complaint. They were able to cross the road before being re-captured.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched just west of town on Bonham Road for an abandoned vehicle complaint. It was gone upon officer’s arrival.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 9 th Street for a loose dog complaint. The owner was able to capture it and return it home.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 3 rd Street for a neglected animal complaint.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a complaint involving juveniles hanging on the new hoops on the basketball court. The juveniles were spoken to.

August 23
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 3 rd Street for a missing juvenile complaint. The subject was located at a non-custodial parent’s house and taken back home.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3 rd Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a verbal domestic dispute.

August 24
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of NW 6 th Street for a complaint involving a vehicle in the ditch.
Officer found remnants of a vehicle, but it was gone upon arrival.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a complaint involving juveniles hanging on the new hoops on the basketball court. The juveniles were spoken to.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 1st Ave for a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Officer ultimately towed the vehicle after deeming it to be a traffic hazard.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SW 3rd Street for a complaint involving littering.
