Officer was notified about a wild animal complaint about a raccoon being found on a porch. They were given contact info for wildlife removal services.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of Main Street, Arely Hernandez, 26, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released with a required court date.
Officer stopped in the 00 block of SE 6 th Street and spoke to a resident about a pile of junk that was placed on the terrace.

Officer was flagged down about a city ordinance violation involving burning on a non-burn day in the 800 block of NW 1 st Ave.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on North Center Ave for a welfare check while severe weather sirens were activated. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 1 st Ave for a disturbance / parking complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 6 th Street to assist a citizen.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 2 nd Ave for a neighbor dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 3 rd Street for a solicitor complaint. Two subjects were located and were found to have not obtained a permit. As the result, Andrews DeJesus, 34, Chicago, and Atixat Sengmeuangkhoun, 24, Chicago, were each issued administrative Warning Tickets (AWTs) for soliciting with a city permit.
Officer was dispatched to the SW 6 th Ave train tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
June 18
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 6 th Ave for a complaint involving several dogs that ran away and two young children followed them. A short time later, the dogs and children returned home.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NE 2 nd Ave for a physical domestic disturbance. As the result, Jacob Todd, 30, Galva, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery (strangulation). He was transported to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 8 th Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone about a loose dog complaint from the previous day.

Officer was dispatched twice to the 600 block of SW 2 nd Ave for a loos e dog complaint. As the result, Ida Terry, 28, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket (AWT) for allowing dogs to run at large.
June 19
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a fireworks complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a pocket dial from a passing motorist.
June 20
Officer was dispatched to Sentry Estates for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. It was determined to be an accidental dial.
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 east of town to assist a motorist that appeared to be broken down. The subject was fine and was able to continue driving.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1 st Street for a loose dog complaint. The dog was located and impounded. It was later returned after the owner contacted police.
Officer assisted the ambulance with lifting a patient on SW 4 th Ave.
June 21
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 6 th Street for a loose dog complaint. The dog ran into a nearby cornfield and was not captured.
