June 23
Officer was notified that a vehicle was being repossessed in the 00 block of NW 4 th Street. It was removed without any issues.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to several addresses in the NW side of town for complaints involving juveniles knocking on doors and then running away. Officer did not locate anyone.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Main Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer did not locate it.

June 24
Officer was dispatched to a disturbance between siblings in the 00 block of NE 4 th Street.
Officer met with a subject at the Galva Police Department to file a report involving identity theft.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street three times for an activated panic alarm. It was determined to be a faulty sensor.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 4 th Street for a child custody exchange.
Officer was dispatched to a wild animal complaint after a possum was found inside a downtown business. Officer was able to remove it.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 1 st Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be an accidental dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 1 st Street for a utilities complaint involving phone wires down.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street for an unattended fire. It was extinguished prior to police arrival.

June 25
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 3 rd Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer did not locate it.
Officer was dispatched to Route 17 south of Galva for a loose horse in the roadway. The owner was located and put the horse back in the pen.

June 26
Officer was dispatched to assist a citizen in the 200 block of NW 1 st Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 7 th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be young kids playing with a phone.
Officer went to the 100 block of NW 6 th Ave for a city ordinance violation.
Officer went to the 300 block of SE 7 th Ave for a city ordinance violation.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 4 th Street for a child custody dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of North Center Ave for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SE 6 th Street for a two vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to remove an unwanted subject in the 400 block of SW 4 th Ave.
Officer was again dispatched to remove an unwanted subject in the 400 block of SW 4 th Ave to remove an unwanted subject. As the result, Brandon Swank, 29, Galva, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was released with a required court date.

June 27
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a resident who appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to City Hall to meet with solicitors that were wanting a permit.
While patrolling, officer located an abandoned bicycle in a vacant lot in the 100 block of SE 2 nd Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 4 th Ave for a harassment complaint. As the result, a subject was served with a written banning letter and told to leave the area.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 2 nd Ave for a civil property dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2 nd street for a possible theft complaint. Upon investigation, it was learned a subject placed groceries into a similar vehicle, which soon drove away. The vehicle owner called shortly thereafter, and the groceries were returned to their rightful owner.

June 28
While patrolling, officer noticed a shopping cart abandoned in the 300 block of SW 4 th Street. It was returned to the business that owns it.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 4 th Ave for a report involving criminal damage to property.
Officer was dispatched near the intersection of NE 1 st Ave and NE 7 th Street for a report of a male subject screaming at a house. The subject denied needing any services and drove away on a bicycle.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2 nd Street for a loose dog complaint. The dog was impounded and later released back to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 1 st Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be young children playing with a phone.
Officer was dispatched to a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of SW 2 nd Street and SW 2 nd Ave. A crash report was completed.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of NW 4 th Ave, Anthony Kummings, 38, Galesburg, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the SW 6 th Ave railroad tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.

June 29
Officer was dispatched to the Galva Park District for a 9-1-1 call that plotted there. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to the west edge of town to watch for a reckless driver coming towards Galva on
Route 34. Officer located the vehicle, but did not observe any traffic violations to justify a traffic stop.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave for a civil standby to retrieve property.
