Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street to assist a motorist that locked their keys and young child in a vehicle. Tarletons were called and were able to quickly get vehicle unlocked.
Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession that was taking place in the 400 block of NW 9 th Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 2 nd Street for an identity theft complaint.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of NE 3 rd Street, Anabelle Twomey, 24, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended, and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. She was released with a required court date.

Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Exchange Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial. Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street for a complaint involving harassing phone calls / text messages.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 4 th Street for a complaint involving a suspicious person dressed in dark clothing and carrying milk jugs. Officer checked the area, but was not able to locate.
August 29
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a citizen who appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to complete a low speed vehicle inspection just north of town for a Galva resident.
Officer met a complainant at the Galva PD in reference to a disturbance that occurred just east of town on Route 34.

Officer located the suspect vehicle, but did not observe any violations to justify a traffic stop.

As the result of a traffic stop in the 600 block of SW 4 th Ave, Patrick Hammons, 69, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle, and improper lane usage. He was released with a required court date.
