September 1
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a physical domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street to assist a motorist.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1 st Ave for a complaint involving juveniles getting ready to fight another subject. They were dispersed.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a citizen who appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of SE 3 rd Ave, Christopher Riojas, 34, Moline, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
September 2
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a possible prowler complaint. Officer checked the area, but was not able to locate anyone.
Officer was flagged down in the downtown area about a traffic crash with damage only that occurred in the 300 block of Front Street. Officer was able to locate the other vehicle and a crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 1 st Street for a loose dog complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a possible prowler complaint. It was determined to be a neighbor working on a vehicle (in their own yard.)
September 3
Officer spoke to parents of a young child that was observed riding a bicycle in a dangerous manner. The parents advised they would handle the situation.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2 nd Street for a traffic complaint.
September 4
Officer was dispatched to a loose dog complaint in the 100 block of NE 1 st Street.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SE 2 nd Street, Matthew Derr, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for having a cancelled drivers license. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NE 6 th Ave for a single vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to assist Stark Co Medic with an medical emergency on SE 1 st Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a child custody dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 9 th Street for a large fire. It was determined to be a controlled burn.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South Exchange Street for a possible theft complaint. The “missing items” were located and returned.

Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 1 st Ave for a loose dog complaint. The owner was located and the dog was returned.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street to assist a citizen.
Officer was dispatched to the intersection of South Center Ave and SE 2 nd Street to assist a motorist with vehicle problems.
September 7
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street for a disorderly conduct complaint involving telephone harassment.
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD in reference to a civil stand by to retrieve property.
