April 22
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with a barricaded subject that was injured in a UTV rollover accident in rural Cambridge. The subject ultimately surrendered and was provided medical care.
April 23
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1st Ave for a city ordinance violation involving a sump pump flowing into the public street. The situation was resolved.
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with a suspicious person that was laying along the roadway several miles north of town. Subject was located and refused services.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Center Ave for a civil property dispute.
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 just east of town for a motorist assist for a disabled vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South Exchange Street for a suspicious person complaint. Officer checked the area and was not able to locate.
April 24
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1st Street to assist a citizen.
April 25
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7th Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog was impounded.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 5th Street for a harassment complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SW 6th Ave for a damage to property complaint.
While patrolling, officer located a suspicious vehicle in the 1300 block of SE 2nd Street. A traffic stop was conducted and as the result, Patrick Hammons, 68, Galva, was issued citations for illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Swank Street for a possible prowler complaint. Officers checked area and did not locate anyone.
Officer was dispatched to assist Knox County with a domestic disturbance in the 1900 block of Knox Road 2900 North. Knox Co responded and took over the scene.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2nd Street for a theft complaint involving several juveniles.
April 26
Officer was dispatched to a residence north of town for a loose dog complaint. Dog was returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SW 4th Street for a loose dog complaint. 2 dogs were impounded.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 5th Street for an open door complaint. The residence was checked and nobody was found.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of North Center Ave for a civil property dispute.
Officer met with a resident in the 600 block of NW 1st Street and submitted a freedom of information act request.
April 27
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 3rd Ave for a medical emergency involving a subject being unresponsive. The patient was transported by ambulance.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of Commercial Street, Terence Gade, 68, Machesney Park, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a stop sign, and failure to use turn signal. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3rd Street for a disturbance complaint. The subject appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
April 28
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2nd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. IT was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 7th Ave for a dog bite complaint. A subject was bitten by their own dog and suffered minor injuries.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a complaint involving a group of juveniles not playing well together.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone, who claimed to have information about several unsolved cases. It was determined the information was meant for Galva, Kansas. The complainant was given the correct contact information.
Officer was dispatched to an activated burglar alarm at a residence east of town. IT was determined to be a false alarm.

Jaden Wilson, 18, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SE 2nd Street.
Rex McLeren, 62, East Galesburg, was issued citations for having expired registration and no insurance in the 300 block of SE 2nd Street.
April 23
Abraham Duarte-Garcia, 26, Kewanee, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
April 24
Jeffrey Bridgewater, 61, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.

Lindsay Kraus, 33, Galesburg, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
Matthew Whitaker, 45, Leon, IA, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
Linda Winkler, 75, Peoria, was issued citations for speeding and no insurance in the 1000 block of SE 2nd Street.
Jairo Ojeda, 30, Monmouth, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
Sarah Lucas, 30, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
Alexandria Pollock, 24, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
John Larson, 87, Galva, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
