Hooch became a well-known dog in Galva after he went missing on December 29th and wasn’t found until January 2nd. Hooch was spotted by Donna Ericson running on Highway 17 towards Farmgate before he ran off the road into a field. Kristina and William followed Hooch’s pawprints for over two hours when they finally found him and were able to rescue him. Hooch was hungry and tired, but he was healthy and back home with his loving family. Bettertwogether Photography reached out to Kristina and William and offered to do a photoshoot of Hooch and his family. Whitney Wilson captured how sweet Hooch is and how much he clearly loves his family. Hooch’s story reminds us to never give up and keep searching for our beloved missing pets.
Kristina Craig said in a Facebook post, ”We are absolutely overwhelmed with happiness by the outpouring love, concerns, and prayers from our communities when our boy Hooch went missing on Sunday 12/29 until he was found Thursday 1/2! Our hearts were absolutely shattered by the “not knowing” what had possibly happened and/or not knowing where he might have been! So many people reached out to us in so many ways, God knew that we needed each and every one of you! Hooch was already fiercely loved in the Craig household, but given his recent celebrity status; many people have reached out with well wishes, welcome home gifts for Hooch, and even a photo session from Bettertwogether Photography! Whitney Olson captured Hooch’s sweet personality perfectly and tolerated us humans pretty well too! LOL We will treasure these pictures for a lifetime!!! So many prayers were answered when we found him…GOD IS SO GOOD!!!”
