Geneseo’s festive spirit comes alive this Friday, November 15, 2024, as the community gathers for the annual Christmas Open House. From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the streets of Downtown Geneseo will be bustling with candlelight shopping, a Victorian Luminary display, and the inaugural lighting of the new city Christmas tree. This year’s celebration is extra special with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus for the tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 pm. Attendees can enjoy free horse & buggy rides, a double treble handbell performance, and festive Christmas music. With pleasant weather expected, it’s the perfect evening to start your holiday season with joy and community cheer. Join us to experience the magic and take part in creating new memories in Geneseo!
