So far, the Kewanee Police and Fire Departments’ technicians have inspected 12 car seats. Breanne Bryner, Andy Kingdon, and Andrew Welgat are at City Hall until 4 PM conducting car seat checks, and you will get a free ROTH ID tag with each inspection. ROTH ID tags stick on your car seat and turn into a bracelet for your child or children in the event of an accident. If you can’t make it to Kewanee City Hall today, call the Kewanee Police Department at 309-853-1911 to make an appointment. You can also donate money towards the ROTH ID tags. ROTH ID tags identify the child or children, allowing quicker notification of an accident to the children’s family. Update: Thirteen children received ROTH ID tags today!
