The Good Fellows Christmas Basket Club is making sure every home in Kewanee has something special this holiday season. Food baskets will be delivered across the community on December 19th. Community members are encouraged to apply or nominate households in need between November 3rd and December 12th. If you or someone you know could benefit from a holiday food basket, call Kewanee High School at 309-853-3328. Organizers emphasize their mission that no one in Kewanee should go hungry at Christmas. This annual effort brings neighbors together, spreading kindness and ensuring a brighter holiday for all.
The Christmas Basket includes a ham, milk, butter, eggs, potatoes, bread, pasta, fresh fruit, soup, vegetables, plus more.
