On August 10, 2024, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call for an individual injured in an ATV-type vehicle accident on Hazel Marie Boyle Drive in Hennepin. Emergency crews arrived on the scene and located Skyler A. Williams, 21, of Granville, with severe head trauma. Williams was transported to OSF St. Francis in Peoria by LifeFlight. Skyler Williams was pronounced deceased at OSF St. Francis on August 11, 2024. The accident remains under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
