Hancock County Senior & Childcare Services has been awarded an Honorable Mention Certificate from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations. This recognition is tied to their recent redesign of the website www.hancockvillage.org. The updated site aims to simplify the search for resources on senior living, childcare services, and local community programs. Cynthia Stewart, Marketing Director, explained that their focus was on accessibility and usability for families and seniors across Hancock County. The collaborative project involved Memorial Hospital’s Marketing Department and McDaniels Marketing of Pekin, Illinois, highlighting local partnerships in enhancing community support tools. Officials say the updated site makes it easier for users to find essential information and connect with important services. The project reflects ongoing efforts to support the well-being of Hancock County residents by enhancing digital access to community programs.
“Our goal with the redesign was to ensure that families and seniors could easily find the resources they need, whether that’s information about senior living options, childcare services, or community programs,” said Cynthia Stewart, Marketing Director at Memorial Hospital and HCSCS.
Colleen Wildrick, Director of Hancock County Senior & Childcare Services, expressed pride in the recognition: “This award affirms the dedication of our team to meeting the needs of Hancock County families and seniors. The website is more than just a digital tool—it’s an extension of our mission to provide compassionate, accessible services to the community.
