Road conditions continue to deteriorate and travel is not advised. The heaviest snowfall is south of Interstate 80. Snowfall is expected to continue through 1 PM. If you must travel, have an emergency bag in your vehicle with water, snacks, blankets, and a change of clothes. Here is the 10 AM briefing from the NWS of the QC:
”1015 AM Radar/Roads: Snow continues over the area, covering roads.The heavier snow is being seen along and south of Interstate 80 through 1 PM. With this, roads are snow covered and slick, with very cold temps helping quick accumulation.”
