The Henry County Highway Department will begin construction on County Highway 5 (Galva-Atkinson Blacktop) at the Interstate 80 Interchange near Atkinson, weather permitting, on April 10, 2025. This project, undertaken by the Henry County Highway Department, will repair the slope and guardrail on the east side of Henry County 5 and is anticipated to take around four weeks to complete.
