A death investigation is underway by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office after human remains were discovered by citizens in rural Kewanee. The human remains were discovered Sunday evening, March 10, 2024. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office believes there is no danger to the public, according to a press release. Investigators with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident and no further information will be released until the investigation is complete.
