The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents of Henry County to hold off on open burning until weather conditions improve. Due to the dry and windy weather conditions, fires can spread quickly and get out of control. Captain Ben Franklin said, “Unless absolutely necessary, please avoid burning. Your cooperation will greatly assist numerous emergency agencies.” The Henry County Office of Emergency Management shared a fire danger warning for the area due to the weather conditions. Henry County is not on a burn ban at this time.
