A group of home-schooled children recently relished an engaging visit to the Regional Media studios in Kewanee. Ranging from toddlers to teenagers and accompanied by adults, the group explored the fascinating world of radio broadcasting. Their journey began at the WKEI studio, where they witnessed the transformation of interviews into radio shows. Seth Parlier then introduced them to the Hog County studio, sharing the secrets of his Birthday Barn recordings. Meanwhile, Jaden entertained in the conference room, and families recorded the “Wake Up Tri-Counties” intro. The tour concluded with juice boxes and goldfish crackers, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories.
