Troop 4444 is marking its 11th anniversary by turbocharging community support with a “One Hour Power Hunt” to benefit the Kewanee Food Pantry. Forgoing their annual celebration this Tuesday, October 28th, troop members aim to collect an ambitious 1,000 non-perishable food items in just one hour. Community members can participate by either leaving donations on their porch between 5 and 7 PM or sending a Venmo contribution for scouts to shop on their behalf. Addresses for pickup are being accepted through 4:30 PM Tuesday. If you intend to leave items on your porch, send a message to Jacque Komnick or call/text her at 309-854-7039.
