The Kewanee Fire Department is conducting fire hydrant testing and flushing around Kentville Road, Railroad Avenue, and Cole Street on Friday, May 31, 2024, beginning at 9 AM. Residents in the northeast area of town may have temporary low pressure and/or rusty water during this process. Rusty water should clear up as water usage continues and the system is flushed. Run cold water only until the water is clear to avoid running sediments into your water heater.
