Road is back open.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, eastbound I-74 will be closed until further notice for multiple semi accidents. Traffic is currently being rerouted.
Interstate 74 eastbound lanes in Knox County are closed due to multiple tractor-trailer accident near Galesburg, this includes milepost 48 to exit 51. Traffic is currently backed up from the accident, according to the City of Galesburg. Avoid the area if possible.
