The Illinois State Police are asking motorists to avoid Interstate 80 westbound west of Atkinson due to a crash. I-80 westbound lanes are closed for a three-vehicle crash with injuries near milepost 26 that occurred early this morning. Traffic is being routed onto exit 27 (Atkinson) and then to Highway 6.
