The Illinois FFA has announced its officer team for the 2025-2026 97th Annual Illinois State FFA Convention, shining a spotlight on Annawan FFA’s achievements. Stepping into the role of president is Natalie Pratt, with Koben Tate taking on duties as vice president. Communications will be managed by reporter Ethan Bremmer, while organizational responsibilities go to secretary Kyle Bradshaw. Managing the group’s finances is Treasurer Kaydance Wooton, and Paige Sierens of Annawan will be Sentinel. These six officers are expected to lead the youth agricultural organization through another year of growth and leadership development, supporting FFA chapters across Illinois. Members and supporters look forward to seeing their vision put into action statewide.

History was made this week as the Illinois Association FFA adopted an amendment to add a sixth major state officer—the sentinel—marking a new chapter for the organization. Paige, representing the Annawan FFA Chapter, has become the very first member from her chapter elected to a major state office. Her achievement is even more significant as she will serve as Illinois’ inaugural state sentinel. Supporters and fellow FFA members across the state are celebrating this milestone, expressing pride in Paige’s accomplishment and anticipation for the leadership and positive impact she will bring to the FFA and its statewide community. “We are so proud of her and look forward to watching her on this journey!”

It was an impressive showing for local students at the Illinois Association FFA State Convention. Paige Sierens secured fourth place overall in the State Job Interview competition and earned the Forage Production State Proficiency Award. Sierens received a Top 10 Section President Award, and Ella Anderson received the Top 10 Chapter President Gold Award. Katie Attig and Anderson received their State Degrees. The FFA Greenhand Quiz Bowl team, featuring Bennett Sierens, Kaleb Klockenga, Declan Woods, Pierce Childs, and Baylor Frankenreider, finished in the top 10. The Annawan FFA received the Silver Ranking in the National Chapter Award.
